This is to the Christian youth, especially one who is academically inclined. Sometimes the knowledge we gain in modern education raises questions in our minds, which, if unchecked, puts our faith and, by extension, the entire future of Christiandom in dire jeopardy.
I am often saddened anytime another of the “educated“ brethren proclaims “I an an atheist or agnostic now“. They render the work of Jesus in their lives of no importance and set themselves to discredit God’s Word by any means possible. However, the words of my Lord are sure as a solid rock, immovable and infallible and it will not prove false, not even a stroke of it, but will continue to work out the Almighty’s purposes even unto eternity. Amen.
Not many nights ago I had a hot battle of sorts on Twitter with some so-called educated characters on the subject of the tangible existence of God. I was flummoxed by how most people were ready to accept the Theory of Evolution, and hastily, yet, strongly dismiss the existence of God without any evidence at all in hand. I was deeply vexed by how finite men, in their limited knowledge and muddled wisdom (utter foolishness, to be sincere) seemed convinced about the nonexistence of an Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Infinite, Perpetual, Everlasting, Incomprehensible, Unfathomable, Only Wise GOD, in whom is all the treasure of Wisdom and Knowledge, true knowledge.
I speak of the Supreme One whose beginning no man knows, and whose end, even the greatest of philosophers and scholars have not even begun to imagine. He who spread the heavens like a a canopy, hung the sun and moon in it and sprinkled it with stars and planets. He charted the course of the oceans currents and drew a boundary for its waters. This God i speak of, He knows the boarders of the vast universe and the depths of the deepest parts of the ocean. Yea, He knows the number of the sand and the hair on our heads. He reigns Supreme, King of kings, Lord of all lords. Our only true God and Father, Glory to His name.
Now these so-called knowledgeable and learned group of people (Scientists, philosophers, atheists, agnostics or whatever embellishment they may fancy), try to make compelling, logical arguments (flimsy excuses for their blasphemous, sacrilegious pride), presuming to discover our God as they would an element or a natural phenomenon or a piece of fossil, an ancient civilisation through their scientific enquiry or some verifiable piece of Historical document. But our God will only be found by those who earnestly seek Him, not as a piece scientific evidence, but rather, as a Redeemer, for the salvation of their souls. In their argument they quote men like the pope, some confused theologians and some other really influential figures. Hoping that we may be swayed by them, they forget that these also are mere mortals and that our God is no respecter of persons; that no man’s opinion has any bearing whatsoever on His being or the irrefutable proof of His existence. They have no idea of the radiance of His Glory, for he dwells in Unapproachable Light.

They endeavor to disqualify faith as the only means of beholding God - For all who come to Him must first Believe that He is and is the rewarder of all those who diligently seek Him. We have to be on guard, therefore, so we do not become the renegades, deserters, defectors and traitors that so many of the faith have become. Glory be to God Who has made us such that we are not of those who so easily give up because we are persuaded that our God IS… and neither will flogging, hatred, chains, prison bars, cross, gallows, sword, guillotine, beast, fire, demon or any power of hell nor the scheme of any man persuade us otherwise.
Now, while there’s evidence for evolution, it is inconclusive and inadequate and if anything at all, a proof of God’s own infinite power and unsearchable wisdom. We need to be on guard, brethren, so some people do not beguile the church with some philosophical, scientific, high-minded talk which originates from the deepest circles of hell itself.
As a church, we need to pray that God will move mightily in our generation; that the demonstration of the power of the Holy Ghost will be so great and so evident that men can no longer ignore, dismiss or discredit it. We must also avail ourselves to the teachings of the Holy Ghost in all the wisdom of God, and also in His workings, so we will become young men and women like Jesus, Daniel and Joseph and Stephen and Paul. So we may speak undisputable and irrefutable wisdom to men of great learning. Men and women who will show forth God with great reason, wisdom, through their own “philosophies“ and with such mighty demonstration of power. A power that apprehends them, impacts their hearts and transforms them wherever they may sit, whatever their status and whenever they converse with us or hear us speak. Men who will not cease to pray and lift up the son of man until every knee bows and every tongue confesses the verity of God, The power of the Holy Ghost and the Lordship of Christ.
May we become the Josephs in this modern Egypt, the Daniels in this decadent Babylon, the Jesus in this corrupt temple (with its corrupt leaders), the Stephens in this era of academic prowess and learning (devoid of all things God-related), and the Pauls of this Global “Areopagus“, full of lost scholars, scientists and philosophers, and speak with such superior wisdom, so as to reveal and make plain to them this "Unknown God" they seek, and whose existence they so vehemently deny in their frustration.
Jesus, reveal yourself as we speak of you to others. Shine your light on darkened hearts and bring many to redemption. We love you Lord and we, I, will follow you to the ends of the earth even unto Death. And so, give us grace. If all men deny you, I will stick with you because my transformed life is an evidence of your concrete existence. For the just shall live by faith, without which it is impossible to bring you pleasure. We will Labour side by side with the master Laborer, the Grand architect Himself. Because of men like you, me and all who are reading this article at this very moment, our generation has a chance in the Kingdom. I’m blessed to be on the winning side.
Let prayers begin even now and let the preaching commence, incessant and unfailing until we have accomplished the purpose of God and we have entered through the pearly gates into the Celestial City which will be our rest for all eternity. Amen.
